The Governor of Osaka is the most important person in the area – we didn’t meet him - but he sent his representative Kazuo Tani from the International Affairs Office.
We took tea at the Governors Residence and were able to ask quite diverse questions around the challenges which the city faces and the recognition that Japan has to maintain friendly relations with the emerging economies.
