Japanese Meals


Japanese Ambassadorial Scholar, Hayase Yamagishi, from Niigata has been helping out the team in many ways.

Haya is studying Education at Cardiff University and so she has been giving us some training in etiquette and language...and cooking! Haya loves her food but how good a cook is she? We think she's brilliant but then some of us drink our Miso soup with chopsticks so what do we know!





日本人のロータリー国際親善奨学生で新潟出身の山岸早瀬さんは、私たちのチームを色々助けてくれています。

早瀬さんはカーディフ大学で教育学を学んでいて、日本のエチケットや言語・・・そして料理を教えてくれています!早瀬さんは自分の料理を気に入ったようですが、彼女の料理の腕や実のところいかに?私たちは彼女の料理は素晴らしかったと思いましたが、その後みそ汁を箸で飲んで、私たちに一体全体何が解るっていうの!?

From the photograph, that's how I finish the last of the milk in my cornflakes bowl when no one is looking!
